Since it was founded in 2005, Anglès a la Carta has earned an excellent reputation in Figueres for its policy of working only with native teachers and having a maximum of 5 students per group.

Located in Figueres, close to Spain´s Costa Brava and home town of artist Salvador Dali, Anglès a la Carta offers English classes to students of all levels and ages (children, teenagers and adults), as well as overseas courses, summer classes and preparation for official ESOL examinations.

Sarah, the owner of Anglès a la Carta, first established the school in 2005. After working as an English teacher in local schools, she finally decided to start out on her own, at first giving private classes from her home in Figueres before increasing demand eventually led her to open a small academy. The school now has 8 members of staff and over 400 students. It is now managed by director of studies Michelle, a qualified ESOL teacher with over 10 years’ experience in the field who has worked at Anglès a la Carta for the past 7 years. Sarah and Michelle firmly believe that the success of Anglès a la Carta is due to the school’s policy of offering small groups, native qualified teachers and personalised attention.
